Putty
Putty used for interior work. Moisture resistant. GOST 28013-98.
Putty mixture contains cement, fine mineral fillers and polymer additives which increase technological effectiveness, shrinkage resistance, bond resistance, moisture resistance, etc.
Properties: Plastic, solid, good adhesion, easy processing after it has dried, moisture resistant. Coat thickness must not exceed 5 mm.
Application: Used as a thin layer leveling putty for surfaces of plastered, brick, aerated concrete and concrete walls, as well as for repair of walls damages (dents, holes and cracks) inside buildings of any moisture level.
Base surface preparation: Base must be solid, dry, free of dust, old paint, oily stains and other substances that decrease bond resistance. Coat of primer is required to increase base strength, reduce absorbency, and to increase adhesion strength.
Temperature condition: It is recommended to maintain the temperature of the base between +10°С до +25°С and +25°C while working and within the next 2 days.
Application method: Add dry putty to pure water of the temperature between 15°С and 18°C. Water to putty ratio should be 0.28-0.30 l to 1 kg (5.6-6.0 l to a pack of 20 kg). Mix putty and water to get a uniform mass, leave for 5-10 minutes and mix again. Use mixed putty within the next 3 hours. Apply in level coat 5 mm thick with putty knife. Do not apply the next coat until the first one dries up. The drying time depends on coat thickness, moisture level and temperature. Leveled surface is easily polished without scratches due to the effective size of additive particles. Polishing must be made after the finishing coat dries up.
Precautions: Mixture contains cement. Wear rubber gloves while working. A respiratory or gauze bandage is recommended to avoid inhalation. In case of eye contact flush eyes with a big amount of water.
Storage: Keep tightly closed in a dry place. Storage time 6 months.
Technical data:Composition: cement, natural mineral additives, polymer additives.
